Confidentiality: Everything discussed during your health intake and in the practice space will be kept confidential except when subpoenaed by a court of law. Client details are not revealed unless the client has given written permission to do so. I will not confirm nor disclose the fact that a specific person is my client, unless I have permission of the client to do so.
Sexual Appropriateness: Sexual behavior by the client toward the therapist or by the therapist toward the client is unethical, inappropriate and unacceptable. Sexual harassment is not tolerated. If either party's safety feels compromised, the session is stopped immediately.
Cancellation Policy: Schedules can get busy and we all sometimes need to reschedule. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy with a 50% “no show” fee. This means that if I receive less than 24 hours cancellation notice or a client simply doesn’t show, the client is responsible for paying 50% of the session fee. If I need to cancel on a client with less than 24 hours notice, the client is given 50% credit for the cancelled session. In the case of an emergency with written documentation, the fee or credit is waived at the discretion of the owner.
